Meet Maisie
Maisie joined my life with Marnie shortly after I moved to Amaris, forming the beginnings of my little M (Marnie, Maisie, Mia and Merci) Mob. Back then, I had no idea that this joyful mob would eventually grow to include Micah and Millie as well. Maisie stood out right from the start—a happy, bubbly joey who seemed to have a permanent smile on her face. She was a delight to care for, breezing through every milestone with effortless charm and an infectious happiness that lit up our lives.

As Maisie grew, she blossomed into a wonderful Mumma. Her first little one, Maxx, became the center of her world, and oh, how she adored him. Maisie’s love and care for Maxx were boundless, and her joy in motherhood shone through in every interaction. Then, along came Marli. For reasons I’ll never fully understand, Maisie left him at my back door one day. I took him into care, and to my amazement, Marli was just like his Mumma—always smiling, full of hugs, and with an endearing habit of happy sidekicks that brought endless joy.
The following year, Maisie had another joey, Marty, and once again, she was an incredible Mumma, devoted and loving. Last year, Maisie disappeared for about six months, leaving me worried about her well-being. But to my great relief and joy, she eventually came home—bringing Marty along with her. I caught a glimpse of little Morgan poking his head out of Maisie’s pouch, but sadly, she lost him. Even with these ups and downs, Maisie’s spirit remains unshakable. Since then, she’s been sticking close, and every visit is a heartwarming occasion.

Maisie is more than just a member of the mob—she’s a little bundle of happiness who reminds me of the incredible resilience and love these animals bring into our lives. My Maisie, my constant source of sunshine.
